Here are six medium-sized triangular ground-side hand tools.  These are made from different rock types, including sandstone, mudstone and basalt.  The stone artisans that crafted these tools enjoyed the simplicity of a triangle. 

This basalt tool is one of our favorites.  The colors are vibrant, and all three sides are smooth.

Mudstone was a favorite raw material at our site, and here's a nice example of a mudstone hand axe.

And here is a smaller mudstone hand tool, with a hint of red.
