This page covers the last stage of a (single) ground-side sandstone hand tool. Occasionally we find what appear to be the remainders of sandstone tools.  These had only one side that was regularly ground with use-wear wrapping around the rest of the tool.

Contrast the above three-sided sandstone triangle with the one below, which had two regularly ground sides.
