This page presents three styles of hand axes.  The first group is a set of three diamond-shaped slate hand axes.

Here's a side view of the one on the lower left.  This small slate hand axe has a nice rise.

The next set is of two five-sided axes.  The axe on the left is slate, but I am not sure about type of rock used to craft the tool on the right.

These last group has two hand axes that are larger than others on this page.  Made in the same style, both are similar to flat hand axes in their shape, but these are "platforms" three inches thick.
